Key Responsibilities
- Set appointments within the territory, conducting 'lunch and learn' presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the commercial, industrial & municipal construction industries
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Prepare and present sales reports, analyses & forecasts to senior management
- Bachelor's degree in: Civil Engineering or Construction Technology, Construction Management
- Ability to travel regionally, 25%-50% with 2-6 overnights per month, you'll plan around your own schedule
- 2 years of work in the industry, ideal if you're working in transportation or related heavy earthwork construction
- 2 years of related technical sales experience with construction products, calling on contractors, DOT, State and local municipalities, AEC firms
- Excellent communication, negotiation, customer relationship management skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and anticipate customer needs
- Familiarity with lead generation strategies and customer relationship management techniques
- 100% Fully-remote from your home office based in New York (western NY ideal)
- Base Salary DOE: $90,000 - $100,000 Commission, OTE $140,000 - $150,000
