Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Manage site supervision and coordinate construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate unforeseen challenges.
- Control project budgets and ensure all expenditures are documented and within financial guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Conduct quality control inspections to guarantee work meets both company and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to report on project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Review and interpret blueprints and construction documents to guide project execution.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all project stakeholders.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in construction projects.
- Familiarity with safety compliance regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Proficient in scheduling software and construction management tools.
