We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee marine dredging projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project operations, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with various teams while traveling to different project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage marine dredging operations at various locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards on all projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and crews to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure quality and efficiency in dredging activities.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and schedules.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to enhance performance and resolve issues.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction or marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of dredging operations and marine construction practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance in marine projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
