Key Responsibilities
- Operate Wire EDM machines to manufacture precision components
- Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings
- Select and deploy appropriate tools for machining tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on Wire EDM equipment
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safe work practices
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and challenges
- Manage time efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Assist in overhead crane operation for lifting and moving materials as needed
- Proven experience operating Wire EDM machines
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Experience with CNC operation and tool selection
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and techniques
- Commitment to safe equipment operation and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Mathematical proficiency for computations related to machining processes
- Experience with overhead crane operation is a plus
