At CyberTec, we are seeking a skilled Senior SQL Developer to join our team. As a key member of our database development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality databases that meet the needs of our organization.
About the Role
This is a 12 month contract position with the opportunity to work on various projects, including database architecture, development, and maintenance. You will work closely with our DBA team to ensure the performance and stability of our SQL databases, as well as handle any security-related issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance databases using SQL programming languages
- Create database tables, structures, schemas, and dictionaries to support application development
- Develop queries for integration with other applications and create triggers, scripts, functions, and procedures required for application development
- Test databases and fix bug-related issues to improve database performance
- Coordinate with DBA to create and manage tables, indexes, database links, and privileges
- Optimize query performance and query time
- Understand network performance and security issues and perform regular system backups
