Project Manager - Hybrid

Job Description:

As a Senior Project Manager (PM3), you will assist the Client Project Management Office (PMO) supporting the Client in a multi-year, high-priority project. The role focuses on the PCI Compliance Project for 2024-2025, covering secure network, account management, incident response planning, and SAQ-A completion. This position also entails overseeing enterprise-level technical compliance in alignment with PCI-DSS requirements, aimed at protecting cardholder data. You will work closely with technical teams, agency executives, and stakeholders in a hybrid environment, spending 2-3 days a week on-site and the rest remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Clarity for project schedules, resource assignments, and budget management
• Prepare presentations for executives, managers, and project teams
• Monitor, control, and communicate project progress, managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, sponsors, team members, and management on project status
• Provide leadership to foster collaboration between technical and business teams
• Develop and maintain SUITE PMM deliverables: Project Charter, Schedule, Budget, Communication Plan, Status Report, Risk/Issue Management Plans, Change Requests, and Closeout Summary
• Manage communication interfaces with other agencies
• Ensure adherence to SUITE PMM and SEM methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate the Change Management process and approve Change Requests before action
• Create Corrective Action Plans (CAP) for projects in yellow or red status
• Review vendor contracts, manage vendor deliverables, and enforce vendor deliverable approval procedures
• Facilitate stakeholder interactions to clarify expectations and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  
  

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of IT project management practices
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, change requests, risks, and issue logs
• Proficiency in using project portfolio management systems, including Clarity
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment with a hybrid workforce
  
  

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
