Quality Assurance Tester - Hybrid

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the systems meet functional and non-functional requirements through thorough testing procedures. The role includes creating test cases, executing tests, and ensuring that systems meet the desired specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed test cases and acceptance criteria based on system requirements.
• Execute test cases under different scenarios to ensure system functionality and performance.
• Document and evaluate test results, identifying any discrepancies or defects.
• Detect, log, and report program bugs, ensuring defects are tracked and resolved.
• Troubleshoot errors and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Create test procedures and training materials for stakeholders.
• Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies to enhance the testing process.
• Collaborate with project team members to address development, customer issues, and security requirements.
• Work in an Agile development environment.
• Conduct data analysis to ensure data integrity and functionality within the system.
  
  

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field.
• 5 years’ experience in quality assurance of software systems.
• Experience creating test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency in executing test cases under varying circumstances.
• Experience documenting and evaluating test results.
• Ability to detect, log, and report program bugs.
• Experience tracking defects and troubleshooting errors.
• Experience creating test procedures and training materials.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with data analysis and relational databases.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with K-12 data.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  
  

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $60.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
