Technical Trainer - Hybrid

Job Description:

As a Technical Trainer with the Client’s Business Innovation & Technology department, you will be instrumental in empowering employees with essential technology skills and knowledge. This role involves developing and implementing impactful technical training and educational content, utilizing multiple formats to support a tech-savvy workforce. You’ll contribute to creating digital learning resources, managing eLearning tools, and providing support for IT training initiatives across all user levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver technical training content for various formats, including articles, presentations, videos, and web-based materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training materials are professional, impactful, and current.
• Review and update existing training resources, including job aids and reference documents.
• Create digital learning modules with audio and video content using tools like Adobe Captivate and Articulate 360.
• Produce screen-recorded instructional videos using platforms such as Camtasia.
• Design e-learning and microlearning modules tailored to both entry-level and proficient users.
• Work closely with the Business Innovation & Technology teams to align training content with the latest technologies.
• Assist with the administration and distribution of content through eLearning and learning management tools.
• Support the training team in delivering IT training for end-users across varying skill levels.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, updating content to ensure relevance and engagement.
  
  

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Intermediate/advanced experience in creating technical training content, particularly for MS Office 365.
• Proficiency with Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, or similar platforms for developing online training.
• Experience with Camtasia or comparable tools for video editing and screen recording.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Proven experience in instructional design and delivering technical training.
• Ability to create content within set deadlines, maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Collaborative mindset, with experience working with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Capacity to learn new technologies quickly and adapt training materials accordingly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  
  

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $30.00 to $50.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
