Job Description :
As a Back-end Developer, you will support systems integration, platform integrations, and ensure scalability, efficiency, and security. This role requires a DevOps mindset, with expertise in automated and repeatable Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) frameworks. The developer will work on various business cases, primarily within marketing, and must be adaptable to changing technologies and challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop solutions to meet business goals while navigating technology requirements.
- Manage API resources and oversee integrations between platforms.
- Research, create, and maintain architecture and documentation for integrations and frameworks.
- Monitor system performance and optimize applications for scalability and reliability.
- Maintain CI / CD pipelines, including automated build and deployment plans using tools like GitHub, Bamboo, and Harness.
- Ensure high code quality by utilizing tools such as SonarQube, CodeQL, and Veracode for security scanning and dependency analysis.
- Maintain a secure operational environment, including public key cryptography, credential rotation, and certificate management with tools like Keypass, Safeguard, and Venafi.
- Develop, update, and execute test plans, including manual, automated, and regression testing using tools like Mabl.
- Monitor application performance using AppDynamics and analyze logs via Splunk, participating in disaster recovery drills as needed.
- Work with cloud-native application architectures and platforms such as Tanzu and PCF.
- Perform occasional Linux system administration duties, including networking, DNS, proxy servers, and Apache web server configuration with SSL certificates.
- Write scripts using PowerShell and AppleScript for automation.
- Provide recommendations for process and system improvements.
- Work with XML, JSON, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and scripting languages as needed.
Required Skills, Experience, Education, and Competencies :
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
