Job Description :
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing data processing and reporting projects to fulfill client reporting requirements, as well as supporting data clean-up and future conversion activities for a new statewide system. You will assist in managing critical tasks related to various systems and reporting efforts, and ensure that data quality needs and client requirements are met for both legacy and future systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives across the CLIENT project team.
- Manage submission and tracking of system defects and change requests for assigned components.
- Ensure processes and timelines meet program specifications and client compliance requirements.
- Provide regular status reports for projects and assigned tasks.
- Address data quality needs identified by the program office or federal compliance and support the CLIENT data quality plan.
- Review user requirements and functional specifications for system development, enhancements, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure compliance with standards and procedures related to assigned initiatives.
- Maintain understanding of current federal and state reporting requirements.
- Co-manage the review and approval process for county IT grants and budget submissions.
- Proactively address issues and report them through appropriate channels.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and customer representatives.
- Support business operations and end-users in data quality and software applications.
- Investigate data quality concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Communicate professionally with stakeholders and establish positive working relationships.
- Utilize Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
- Use TFS, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Test Manager for project management.
- Conduct meetings or follow-up sessions with stakeholders to understand relevant business processes.
- Assist the Data Management Section with tasks related to the project initiative.
- Use the Commonwealth Service Now incident reporting system for incident tracking and processing.
- Prepare status reports and update task plans for Division Leadership.
- Lead or facilitate meetings / workgroups and presentations, both in-person and virtually.
- Work effectively in a team environment and travel as needed.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
