IT Project Manager - Hybrid

Job Description :

As an IT Project Manager, you will collaborate with executives, software vendors, service providers, and business directors to implement changes to the environment. Your primary focus will be managing the migration of mainframe applications to the AWS Cloud, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget while adhering to project management best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and coordinate all project tasks necessary for migrating mainframe applications to the AWS Cloud.
• Provide project management consultation throughout the project management and software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with resource managers, vendors, business analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure project alignment with business goals.
• Develop and manage project schedules, risks, issues, and interdependencies, with a strong understanding of on-premise and cloud technologies.
• Prepare detailed project plans, including scope management, risk management, communications, change control, and performance measurement.
• Monitor project performance, report status to management, and address major milestones and potential risks.
• Direct project teams, conduct status meetings, and assess proposed changes in scope during the execution phase.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations through product verification processes and conduct lessons-learned sessions.
• Promote and support Project Management Office (PMO) policies and processes.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
