Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team in Dublin, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components, including cameras, sensors, LiDAR, and radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of active safety components such as cameras, sensors, LiDAR, and radar.
• Develop design concepts, establish specifications, and create detailed layouts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize CATIA V5/V6 for 3D modeling, plastic and sheet metal part design, and creation of 2D component and assembly drawings.
• Perform design feasibility studies, cost analysis, and strength calculations.
• Select appropriate materials and construction methods for parts and systems.
• Coordinate prototyping, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Communicate effectively through technical writing and presentations.
• Manage multiple projects and develop analytical procedures to solve engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure accurate part specifications and evaluate technical proposals.
• Prepare and present technical reports and test results in various formats.
• Make sound technical decisions with moderate supervision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, especially in ADAS components.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 and strong knowledge of plastic and metal part design.
• Solid technical writing and computer skills for engineering applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
