What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Site IT Support Specialist position at CyberX Info System?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site IT support, including hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance for PCs and MACs.
- Handle physical, hands-on IT tasks such as workstation setup, cable management, and network troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with our IT Services Provider for remote management of system-related fixes and installations.
- Lead IT planning for the site, including assessing and implementing necessary upgrades or changes.
- Facilitate a knowledge transfer process from the outgoing consultant to ensure smooth operations.
- Occasionally travel to NJ and RI locations to provide on-site IT support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT support, with strong expertise in PC environments and basic familiarity with MAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Experience with IT planning, hardware installations, and network setup.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and remote IT services.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and growing environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to NJ and RI.
