What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Account Executive position at Cyclone Social?

The Account Executive at Cyclone Social is responsible for managing client relationships, understanding their business needs, and ensuring the successful execution of marketing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of clients' sales status, pain points, and overall business goals, as well as the ability to manage internal teams and projects effectively. Ultimately the Account Executive is responsible for ensuring the client’s work is completed on time and to standard, and the client’s goals are met.


Key Responsibilities

Client Understanding:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of each client's business, including their sales status, challenges, and objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on client performance and pain points.


Analytics and Reporting:

  • Read and write analytics reports for all digital marketing activities.
  • Translate complex data into understandable insights for clients and team members.


Project Management:

  • Manage multiple project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed before deadlines.
  • Create and assign tasks for the team, monitor progress, and ensure accountability.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing strategies that align with clients’ broader marketing goals.


Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular internal meetings with other Account Executives to collaborate on strategies and solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.


Problem Solving:

  • Assess and resolve both simple and complex challenges for clients and internal teams.
  • Provide quality feedback to drive effective changes and improvements.



Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of interactive/digital agency experience working on digital/social strategies and campaigns, including client-facing experience.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting analytics reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Adaptability to handle day-to-day changes and high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
