Job Description
Experience Level CMM Programmer role requires an understanding of manufacturing processes. Candidates should have experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards along with exposure to engineering drawings. Cyient programs are directly affiliated with Pratt & Whitney sites located in East Hartford & Middletown, CT, and North Berwick, Maine.
Programmer responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
- Experience with CMM programming is a plus.
- Under minimal supervision, create, develop, and modify CMM (coordinate measuring machine) programs as required.
- Support Customer and Team Lead to facilitate Gage R&R activity, measurement correlations, and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) investigations related to CMM equipment.
- Practical knowledge on how to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to work with a team and independently as needed.
