Job Description:
The Senior ITAM ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of software development projects within the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on IT Asset Management (ITAM). This role involves working on multiple projects, providing technical and architectural guidance, and ensuring the successful integration of ServiceNow with other systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration and Implementation: Stand up, configure, and implement ServiceNow ITAM modules.
- Development: Create and maintain forms, reports, views, workflows, business rules, scripts, ACLs, groups, and roles.
- Integration: Design and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow and other systems (e.g., Netcool, Kafka).
- API Management: Develop and implement robust APIs for seamless data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Reporting: Design and maintain reporting, including platform and performance analytics, process mining, and control metrics.
- CMDB Management: Oversee the integration of information into the CMDB from ServiceNow Discovery and APIs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Best Practices: Provide technical and architectural guidance on complex initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-10 years of hands-on programming experience with ServiceNow, including ITAM, ITSM, and ITOM modules.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITAM or related certifications are preferred.
