Job Title: Solutions Architect
**Location:** Houston, TX
Job Type: Contract to hire
The client is transitioning from a legacy JSF and monolithic application to a modern, scalable architecture using Angular and Java Spring Boot. Seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to lead this transformation and ensure the successful implementation of new product.
Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of a scalable, robust architecture using Angular and Java Spring Boot.
System Evaluation: Assess the current legacy JSF and monolithic system to identify areas for improvement and integration.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing applications and infrastructure.
Cloud Integration: Design and implement solutions leveraging Azure cloud services to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.
CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, particularly in transitioning from legacy systems to modern architectures.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Angular, Java Spring Boot, and JSF. Familiarity with monolithic and microservices architectures.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure cloud services. (preferred)
CI/CD: Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
