- ARRT (MRI) Certification required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assist personnel in the performance of CT/MRI examinations.
- Provide patient care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Utilize the Radiology Information System in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Use power injectors for the administration of contrast materials and begin and maintain IVs.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and anticipate patient needs while establishing rapport with patients and families.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating equipment and developing films.
- Schedule exams and perform record-keeping duties accurately and timely.
- Perform clerical duties and transport patients to and from the Radiology Department.
- Carry out quality assurance and participate in age-specific care and interaction.
- Prepare and position patients for scans according to department procedures.
- Set up equipment as necessary for specific examinations and perform exams.
