- Experience:** Critical care experience highly preferred; prior experience with EPIC and Sensis highly preferred.
- License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- BLS-AHA
- ACLS-AHA
- Telemetry
- ASN Required; BSN Preferred
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients, based on initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manage the care of patients.
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, or clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Schedule includes on-call requirements: 2 shifts per week and 1 weekend per month, with holiday on-call duties.
- Float requirement includes prep/recovery for the lab.
- Required language proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
