Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty:** Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Shift:** 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, 3 x 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours:** 36
Experience:** Critical care experience highly preferred; prior experience with EPIC and Sensis highly preferred.
License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Certifications

BLS-AHA
ACLS-AHA
Telemetry

Must-Have

ASN Required; BSN Preferred

Job Description

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients, based on initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
Manage the care of patients.
Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, or clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Information

Schedule includes on-call requirements: 2 shifts per week and 1 weekend per month, with holiday on-call duties.
Float requirement includes prep/recovery for the lab.
Required language proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
