- IV skills and wound care experience
- General medical diagnosis knowledge
- Ability to handle high-risk diagnoses such as HF, COPD, MI, Pneumonia, and Stroke
- Post-op care experience
- Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption form on file
- Must have a flu shot or declination & wear a mask at all times while at work
- Valid driver's license and car for home visits
- Perform cardiopulmonary assessments
- Conduct basic and advanced wound care, including ABI compression dressing and wound vac dressing
- Manage Pleurx/Asept drain care, foley catheter change and care, staple/suture removal
- Utilize glucometer, pro-time machine, and provide SQ/IM injections
- Perform lab draws via venipuncture, providing IV skills and care for PICC line or Midline
- Conduct SQ port access/deaccess
- Deliver skilled home care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial insurance)
- Complete home skilled visits, approximately 6-8 per day
- Self-schedule visits and hours based on office needs
- Use of laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printers for documentation
- Comply with non-billable module completions pre-start and annually
- Complete orientation requirements over 20 hours
- Day/Shift hours can vary to accommodate office needs with flexible hours: Mon - Fri 8a to 5p, Mon - Fri 9a to 6p, and Thurs-Mon or Fri to Tues shifts
- Alternating weekend shifts may apply
- Maintain compliance with smoke-free facility policy
- Success in a pass/fail EKG exam is required (3 attempts)
- Completion of Cerner Charting experience is preferred
- Must adhere to documentation systems for scheduling and timesheets
