Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care - $2,650 per week in Tulsa, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 06:45)

Guaranteed Hours: Flexible, option of 36 or 48 hours

Experience: 2 years required, previous travel experience required

License: Valid RN license (state-specific or compact)

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have: Candidates must comply with floating requirements, a travel radius, and complete modules during the orientation.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivering patient care through an established nursing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
• Collaborating with professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achieving desired patient outcomes.
• Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
• Collecting patients' health data.
• Analyzing assessment data to determine patient problems.
• Identifying expected outcomes individualized to the patient.
• Developing a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implementing interventions identified in the plan of care.
• Evaluating patients' progress toward the attainment of outcomes.
• Assisting with the plan of care, evaluating, modifying, and coordinating care, and communicating effectively with other disciplines.
• Delegating tasks to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing standards.
• Conducting discharge planning and assisting patients/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, injury prevention, and teaching.
• Maintaining confidentiality with all information.
• Performing any and all other duties as assigned.
• Floating to similar units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs.
