- Serves as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff, offering consultation, advice, and education while assisting with problem-solving.
- Conducts performance evaluations, ensuring they are completed by scheduled due dates.
- Assists with conflict resolution, mediating disputes between staff and physicians, or patients, and reporting situations appropriately.
- Advocates for patients, families, and staff by supporting patient rights and intervening when necessary.
- Supports other departments to meet patient needs, maintaining operations during non-operating hours.
