- License:** Current RN registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- Certifications:** AHA BLS required, AHA ACLS required.
- Must-Have:** Associates degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Leadership attributes and decision-making skills. Achievement motivation, flexibility, concern for order, initiative, self-confidence, self-control, customer service orientation, interpersonal effectiveness, analytical and information-seeking skills.
- Responds immediately to critical events and provides leadership, including during situations such as code blue, code red, and code 100.
- Adjust staffing levels to ensure the highest level of patient care is maintained.
- Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff, providing clinical consultation, advice, and education.
- Assist staff with conflict resolution between staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Advocate for patients, families, and staff, ensuring their rights and needs are supported.
- Support other departments in meeting patient needs and maintain operations during non-operating hours.
- Complete all employee performance evaluations by evaluation due dates.
