Experience: Three to four years of acute care experience preferred. Previous experience in a management and/or leadership role required.

License: Current RN registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.

Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required.

Job Description

• Responds immediately to critical events and provides leadership and follow-up during these events.
• Adjusts staffing levels to ensure the highest level of patient care and evaluates staffing needs continuously.
• Functions as a clinical and administrative resource for the nursing staff, offering clinical consultation, advice, and education.
• Assists staff with conflict resolution and mediates conflicts effectively.
• Advocates for patients, families, and staff, intervening on their behalf when necessary.
• Supports other departments to meet patient needs, maintaining operations during non-operating hours.
• Completes all employee performance evaluations by due dates.
• Provides appropriate follow-up, including staff education and documentation, after critical events.
• Functions as an administrative resource for other departments during non-operative hours.
