- BLS
- ACLS (required prior to start; can be submitted without but will need prior to starting assignment)
- PALS (required prior to start; can be submitted without but will need prior to starting assignment) Must-Have:
- DC RN Licensure in hand
- Two (2) supervisor references
- Flu vaccine (required, no exemptions) Job Description:
- Work shift: 3 x 12 hours on nights, scheduled between 19:00 and 07:30, with a variable work week from Sunday to Saturday.
- No on-call requirement, weekend rotation included in the schedule.
- Floating requirement based on competency within Pre-Op and Post-Op Departments.
- Uniform scrubs: All colors and patterns acceptable, no insignia from other institutions. Two sets of periwinkle scrubs provided for optional use in the OR.
- Limited RTO: Only 3 days off approved per 13-week contract, with specific conditions for any extensions.
- Background in supervising high-acuity patient care and familiarity with telemetry and ventilation support systems.
- RTO must be managed to ensure a full 36-hour work week around requested time off.
- Modules required before start and potentially during orientation, usually averaging 12 hours. Initial orientation is 28 hours at 50% non-billable.
