Responsibilities:
- The large Molecule Client team is looking for a Contractor-bioconjugation to support our growing biologics portfolio.
- The Contract Scientist, Bioconjugation will be responsible for bioconjugation activities to produce Client antibody conjugates (ADCs) within the Large Molecule Client- Bioconjugation group.
- The scientist will work cross-functionally as part of internal multi-disciplinary teams, as well as working with external partners and CROs.
- The scientist will be expected to participate in experimental design and planning, conduct experiments, maintain detailed records, and communicate results.
- Hands-on experience in the Client and development of ADCs or bioconjugates are preferred.
- Work independently to prepare and optimize bioconjugates with basic lysine, cysteine, and other types of conjugation chemistry.
- Working knowledge in relevant Client analytical techniques including UV-Vis, HIC, SEC, RP-HPLC, and LC-MS are preferred.
- Experience in bench scale purification using the AKTA system is desired.
- Clearly documenting experiments and results in electronic lab notebook entries.
- A BS or MS with 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Level commensurate with education and experience.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interact well with colleagues, vendors, contractors, scientific advisors, and staff at all levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical, documentation, and multi-tasking skills.
- Previous experience with therapeutic antibodies, antibody conjugates, bioconjugate chemistry, and other protein science-related areas is a plus.
