- Provides on-going multi-computer site support for Middleware Software activities associated with the installation, upgrading, testing, and maintenance of Middleware software and hardware in a multiple server and multiple network operating system environments.
- Follows detailed work plans for both installation and continuing maintenance.
- Conducts tests and monitors new installations.
- Advanced level position is recognized as an advanced contributor and subject matter expert in field.
- Knowledge: Advanced knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area.
- General knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and / or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies.
- Communications: Excellent organizational and communication skills, creativity, attention to detail (compliance), and negotiation skills to interpret results, develop communications and recommend improvements.
- Able to present information within all settings in a credible, confident and influential manner.
- Communicates in a concise, direct and purposeful way.

- Oversees the installation, upgrade, testing and maintenance of multiple server and network operating system environments.
- Oversees installation and deployment of security patches across the server environment and ensures adherence to change control policies.
- Reviews and implements technical standards and procedures.
- Oversees the monitoring and tuning on a regular basis.
- Produces statistics on performance and is responsible for identifying and resolving performance problems.
- Ensures problem resolution.
- Reviews research and testing and recommendations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
- Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling.
- The candidate should be able to lift 20 pounds with assistance.
- Occasional travel including overnight stays may be necessary.
- May be subject to on-call and call back as needed.
- May be exposed to moderate noise from equipment.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience/Masters Degree may be preferred with 10 years of relevant work experience.
