- This position is a replacement role to be the subject matter expert (SME) for our Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environment.
- The role will be responsible for 150 Compute servers hosted in Azure, and 250 Windows Desktops.
- This is not a helpdesk role.
- Desktop support will be managing the desktops using Group Policy/Active Directory.
- In depth Active Directory/Group Policy knowledge/experience is required.
- Azure IaaS experience would be a plus.
- The selected candidate will also assist in the maintaining, tuning, and hardening of the Microsoft 365 E5 solution that is already deployed.
- Other duties include being the SME for our Rubrik Backup solution.
- Experience in the tolling industry is required.
- The selected candidate will be added to an on-call rotation that will be one week a month.
- Work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a high technical skill level.
- Position requires frequent interaction with employees, customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems related to the use of single and/or multiple information systems.
- Work may include creation, installation, and modification of software, testing, and documentation on a variety of platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision.
