Job Summary (Windows Engineer Virginia, Local)
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environments.
- Manage and support 150 compute servers hosted in Azure and 250 Windows desktops.
- Oversee desktop management using Group Policy and Active Directory (not general helpdesk support).
- Maintain, tune, and harden Microsoft 365 E5 solutions.
- Administer Rubrik Backup solutions within Azure.
- Ensure compliance and security for Windows environments.
- Participate in a monthly on-call rotation (one week per month).
- Collaborate with employees, customers, and other IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Create, install, modify, test, and document software across various platforms.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks and projects.
- Bring previous experience in the tolling industry.
- Required expertise: Windows Server 2019/2016, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows 10, Rubrik Backup Solution in Azure.
