We are looking for a Project Manager 3 for an Austin, TX (local) hybrid job for our direct client. Please find below the job details.
Job Description:
The worker will need to perform the following tasks and assignments:
- Creating required project documentation, presentations, and artifacts as necessary.
- Providing weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conducting regular project team status meetings.
- Presenting and reports to leadership and oversight entities (e.g., Executive Steering Committees, QAT, etc.); escalating risks and issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner.
- Some on-call support may be required depending on project phase.
- Acting as a liaison between stakeholders and project team(s).
- Ensuring project meets the standard HHSC guidelines and procedures and developing project artifacts in accordance with Texas Project Delivery Framework.
- Managing and monitoring the project schedule, scope, budget; overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments and progress align with project timelines.
- Documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project impediments.
- Overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the SDLC process.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.

Years Required/Preferred Experience
Project Management Experience for large-scale Enterprise Implementations
8 Required State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience
Project Management /Systems Analyst Experience leading and managing legacy modernization projects
State of Texas Project Delivery Framework Experience
Experience with low-code/no-code solutions
Experience with Texas Statewide systems
Experience in the State of Texas QAT process for a major Information Resources project (MIRP)
