Job Title: Rockstar Recruiter & Training Guru
Location: Malvern
Company: Cypress Door and Glass
About Us:
At Cypress Door and Glass, we’re all about two things: flawless doors and glass installations—and finding the best people to join our crew. We need a dynamic, people-person extraordinaire to help us build a dream team and keep them sharp through killer training programs. Think you've got what it takes to rock this role? Read on!
Job Overview:
We’re on the hunt for a Recruiter and Training Coordinator who is ready to step into the spotlight and hit all the high notes! You’ll be in charge of finding top talent (we’re talking A-players), and making sure they don’t just walk through the door but break it down with excitement! You’ll also design training programs that will turn newbies into seasoned pros. If you're ready to make hiring and training more exciting than a Friday night concert, keep reading.
What You’ll Do (Your Setlist):
- Recruitment Rockstar:
- Own the full recruitment cycle, from posting jobs to closing deals (a.k.a. making offers).
- Partner with hiring managers to nail down exactly what they need—because you’re basically a hiring whisperer.
- Source talent through every platform known to humankind (and maybe some alien ones).
- Lead interviews like a pro, and make sure we’re only hiring the cream of the crop (no garage band players here).
- Keep things rock-solid by running background checks, reference calls, and offer letters that make people want to jump for joy.
- Training Wizard:
- Wave your magic wand (or, you know, create strategic programs) to onboard and train employees like a total boss.
- Craft onboarding experiences that make new hires feel like VIPs from day one.
- Work with teams to spot skill gaps and fill them faster than a sold-out concert.
- Keep training fresh and exciting—boring PowerPoints need not apply.
- Ensure all certifications and training requirements are met, so we stay compliant and rocking the industry standards.
- Culture Maestro:
- Be the glue that keeps our rockstar team connected. Build a culture that’s as strong as a power chord and as welcoming as a backstage pass.
- Help employees hit the right notes in their career by supporting their growth and keeping them engaged.
Qualifications (Your Backstage Pass):
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a field that sounds cool on your résumé.
- 3 years of experience in recruiting and/or training management (bonus points if you’ve worked in the service or construction world!).
- You know how to spot talent like a music scout at a killer open mic night.
- You’re a multitasking wizard—juggling projects like a pro without breaking a sweat.
- Tech-savvy with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office—no need to be a computer genius, but you can definitely handle the basics.
- A personality so magnetic that even paperclips are jealous.
Why You’ll Love It Here (Perks That Rock):
- Competitive salary, because rockstars deserve to be paid.
- Health benefits, 401(k), and other goodies that will make your work-life harmony sing.
- A work environment where fun is encouraged, and everyone is part of the band.
- Opportunities to grow your career and develop your skills—so you’ll be an even bigger rockstar next year.
