Cypress HCM is seeking an experienced CMM Programming Expert to join their quality team. As a direct hire employee, you will work on 1st shift and be responsible for programming and operating CMMs to ensure the conformance of products to internal and external quality standards.
Key qualifications include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least three years of experience in programming and operating CMMs are necessary.
- Familiarity with systems implementation, including ISO 9001 and AS9100, is also required.
- Experience with measurement tools, such as OGP and Trimos, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of blue print reading and GDT is necessary.
- The ability to make decisions regarding in-process tolerancing is crucial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business operating systems is expected.
You will be responsible for:
- Programming and operating CMMs.
- Developing and adapting inspection equipment to meet quality standards.
- Investigating and determining the cause of quality issues.
- Assisting production personnel with corrective action processes.
- Maintaining the calibration system.
