Cypress HCM is a leading manufacturer of plastic injection molds. We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Lab Supervisor to support our manufacturing facility in Forest Lake, MN.
The successful candidate will lead and prioritize inspection workload, optimize inspection systems, deliverables, and methods to ensure continual improvement. This role will work closely with New Product teams to support First Article Inspections, Capability Studies, and related inspection method development deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop quality inspectors
- Maintain and organize in-process inspection documentation
- Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality standards
- Foster a culture of continual improvement
- Investigate and determine cause of quality issues
- Provide opportunities for personal and professional development
- Complete performance reviews and provide timely feedback
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in quality, with a minimum of one year in plastic injection molding
- Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality or relevant experience
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of contract manufacturing processes, print reading, and inspection methods
