What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Specialist position at Cypress HCM?
Cypress HCM is looking for a skilled CMM Quality Technician to join our team in Forest Lake, Minnesota. This full-time position will be responsible for ensuring conformance to internal and external quality standards by understanding, communicating, and verifying product specifications.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). They should also possess knowledge of modern manufacturing processes, systems implementation, and measurement tools such as OGP, Trimos, and tool scopes.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can work cooperatively with all employees to initiate, perform, and maintain inspection instructions for receiving, in-process, and final inspections. The selected candidate will also develop and adapt inspection equipment to meet quality standards, make suggestions to improve procedures and equipment, and assist in the handling and documentation of nonconforming product.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills to investigate and determine the cause of quality issues, as well as the ability to make decisions on in-process tolerancing.
