Vehicle State Inspector

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to assess vehicle conditions and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with both power and hand tools. The Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining quality assurance within our operations.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Evaluate auto restoration projects for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Document findings from inspections, including any required repairs or maintenance recommendations.
• Collaborate with mechanics and automotive service teams to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during inspections or when moving equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive repair, auto body repair, or related fields.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and automotive service techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting findings.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
