What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Director position at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club?
Responsible for all Food and Beverage Operations, including but not limited to kitchen operations, Cyprian’s Restaurant, banquets and events, and on-course food and beverage. Reports to the General Manager.
- Oversee the hiring and training of all kitchen, banquet, and restaurant staff and administer ongoing training procedures
- Set, maintain, and continually improve service and presentation standards
- Create and modify menus for both the restaurant and events, and analyze these menus with regards to costs, presentation, efficiency, and current trends
- Create and update procedures regarding service, safety, presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Provide oversight of food and beverage inventory, including ordering, costing, management, and analysis and continually check pricing of all food and beverages orders
- Create, maintain and/or update controls for the restaurant and event bars
- Manage, train staff, and implement procedures regarding all on-course food and beverage, which includes the snack shack, beverage cart, and any lunches/dinners for golf tournaments and events
- Set yearly budgets and create and monitor weekly and monthly forecasts for revenue, expenses, and labor
- Day-to-day financial management – reporting, analysis of COGS, labor, revenue, etc.
- Develop the F&B Management team by hiring and training managers and/or supervisors as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization throughout the clubhouse (kitchen, restaurant, event rooms, storage rooms, staff workspaces, and bottle return area)
- Incorporate safe work practices in all F&B areas
- Support marketing and revenue-generating initiatives to help increase revenue and profit
- Ensure excellence in the overall guest experience
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
