Kronos Functional Analyst (On-site)

Kronos Functional Analyst - On site in Rockville, MD

We re seeking a Kronos Functional Analyst with hands-on experience supporting law enforcement scheduling systems and union rule configurations. This role requires a deep understanding of Kronos Workforce Central, especially in configuring complex work rules, handling union requirements, and supporting a transition from an on-premise to a cloud-based system.

This position plays a key part in collaborating with union leadership, ensuring rule compliance, and contributing to upcoming negotiations. The ideal candidate should also have prior experience working in or supporting law enforcement agencies.

What You ll Do:

• Configure and test law enforcement-specific work and union rules in Kronos and Telestaff.
• Work closely with the Kronos vendor to troubleshoot system issues and optimize setup.
• Collaborate with union leaders to gain alignment and ensure rule accuracy.
• Guide administrators on security best practices and proper role assignments.
• Identify and fix rule conflicts within the Kronos/Telestaff system.
• Manage and improve callback assignments and create specialized callback groups.
• Provide updated training documentation for end users and admins.
• Assist with the transition from a server-based system to Kronos Workforce Central (Cloud).
• Handle any technical or functional issues related to Telestaff configuration and integration.

Must-Have Experience:

• Experience configuring and managing Kronos Workforce Central in law enforcement or similar unionized environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Telestaff, especially with callback settings, rule testing, and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of Remedy security structure and schema formatting.
• Experience working directly with law enforcement teams or agencies is required.
• Official training on Telestaff platform from the vendor is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to create, maintain, and communicate technical documentation.
