The ideal candidate should have prior experience in both pastry/baking and food product development in an industrial setting.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating new products like bread, pastries, and cake bases. They will conduct baking tests, sensory analysis, and process development to ensure samples meet quality assurance criteria. Additionally, they will generate reports and documentation, manage lab stock, assist with project management, and perform competitive analysis.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a degree/diploma in Pastry Arts, Baking Science, Food Science, or Culinary Science. They should have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in bakery production, pastry kitchens, or food R&D roles. Industrial bakery, food manufacturing, or commercial baking operations experience is also required.
