As a Financial Analyst on Cytel’s FP&A team, you will assist in supporting the growing Software Business Unit, in addition to the company’s R&D and IT departments.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close assurance, monthly financial reviews, expense forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
- Understand key drivers of financial results and variances to provide insightful reporting and analysis.
- Maintain and improve revenue forecast model for software business.
- Assist in creating and maintaining operational KPI metrics, including ARR, Renewal Rate, Price Uplift, Gross/Net Retention, etc.
- Translate financial results and business analysis into valuable insights and actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Create monthly reporting and financial packages.
- Influence and drive improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Complete ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as necessary.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 1-3 years of finance experience, ideally with background in software revenue analysis and/or expense management.
- Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
