What are the responsibilities and job description for the GM Service Admin/Cashier position at D'Addario Auto Group?
We are seeking a professional & enthusiastic Full Time Service Administrator/Cashier for D'Addario GMC/Buick/Cadillac. We are a family owned and operated Auto Group for over 50 years, located in Shelton, CT.
Schedule (subject to change)
Monday - 8:00am-6pm (cashier office), Tuesday - Friday 7:45am-5:00pm and every other Saturdays 8am-4pm
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.-$22.00/hr. based on experience

Role Responsibilities include, but not limited to -
- Cover cashier office as needed (minimally two hours daily and full days Saturday)
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Accept payments for Service/Parts customers
- Receipt in money
- Additional clerical responsibilities as instructed
- Work alongside Service Advisors and near Service Technicians in our GM Service Department
- Answer phone calls from customers
- Provide customers helpful recommendations
- Schedule service appointments
- Take detailed notes and strive to solve customer concerns
- Follow up with Advisors on Customer Concerns/New Appointments
- Call back customers to confirm appointments
- Track rental cars and communicate with Service Manager
- Close some internal or warranty repair orders as needed
- Cover Service Cashier office 2 hours per day (and rotating Saturdays)
- Prepare coffee at 8am for Service Lounge
- Accept payment from Service/Parts and close repair orders/parts tickets
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support Service Advisors
- Write RO's, sell to Customers, Grow our Brand
- Handle some clerical responsibilities for the Service Department

Basic Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Connecticut driver’s license with a clean record
- Background check and drug screen required prior to hire
- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment required.
- Prior Dealership experience a plus, not required
Salary : $17 - $22
