Responsibilities:
- Process incoming invoices for accuracy and distributing to approving parties for entry.
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system and vendor check runs.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Post cash receipts
- Generate customer statements when requested.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Recording monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
- Support month and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain historical records via electronic means.
- Detail oriented and effectively communicates within the department and throughout the firm working with staff and management.
- Reports directly to Assistant Controller.
Qualifications:
- Accounting Degree preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Products.
- Experience with BST accounting software preferred, but not required.
Licenses: CPA candidate preferred, but not required
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8 hour shift
Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000
