Job Summary: Provide data analytics for our purchasing and management team to help manage categories to best take care of our customers' needs. This position works with buyers to help identify and communicate potential issues that require responsive action. This is a salary position starting at $50,000 per year and can go up depending on experience.
Essential Functions/Duties
Required Knowledge and Skills: Requires excellent written and oral communication skills along with strong analytical, organizational and computer skills. Report writing and presentation experience preferred, not required. Experience in statistical tools such as Power BI and SQL preferred, not required. Technical expertise in data mining, data segmentation, solid reporting techniques, and communications preferred.
Required Experience: At least 2 years' experience as an analyst in an established organization is preferred.
Required Education/Certification: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; or equivalent experience preferred, not required. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Other Requirements: Must be able to spend many hours a day working at a computer.

- Provide established weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for buyer reviews.
- Gather, interpret and analyze data and present findings to relevant buyers and management.
- Provide and present recommended forecasts to buyers and management.
- Review margin and profitability data.
- Find trends and patterns in data.
- Build relationships with buyers to communicate findings.
- Help buyers and management with established needs and goals.
- Other duties pertaining to the procurement of products, goods or services as assigned by area manager/director.
