Location : Dominican Republic
Salary : $3,000 USD x 13 months
Bonus : Equivalent to one extra month’s salary for achieving objectives
Bonus Criteria :
Meeting food cost budget targets
Achieving high hygiene and sanitation ratings
Ensuring staff satisfaction and retention
Benefits :
Status : Single (No family package)
Time Off : 3 days off every 15 days
Annual Leave : 30 days per year
Housing : Company-provided staff housing or a $1,200 USD housing allowance

Travel : One flight per year to home country
Job Description :
The Executive Sous Chef is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest culinary standards in a luxury hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation.
Assist in menu development, introducing innovative and high-quality culinary creations.
Monitor food costs, waste management, and inventory to meet budgetary targets.
Train, mentor, and lead the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence.
Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and food regulations.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to secure premium ingredients.
Participate in special events, private dining experiences, and VIP guest services.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Experience : Minimum 5 years in fine dining or luxury hospitality settings.
Skills : Strong leadership, cost control, menu innovation, and team development.
Certifications : Culinary degree or relevant professional training.
Languages : English fluency required; Spanish is a plus.
Service-Oriented : Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Preferred Experience :
Michelin-starred restaurants (1-2 stars minimum) or internationally trained chefs
Luxury resorts with fine-dining restaurants
Expertise in food cost management, brigade leadership, and quality optimization
