Cashier / Customer Service
D. Coluccio & Sons, Inc. is a family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Italian food products. D. Coluccio & Sons is seeking qualified employees to clerk in our store full time.
Responsibilities
- Ring up customers at state-of-the-art POS system
- Take payments by cash, credit, debit, check, and gift card
- Operate scales to weigh and price products
- Label items with prices
- Notify supervisors of inventory shortages and upcoming expiration dates
- Assist customers and answer questions
- Familiarize self with products, store layout, and storage locations
Requirements
- Basic math and arithmetic, especially pertaining to retail/finance
- Attention to detail, thoroughness
- Positive attitude and high-level customer service skills
- Availability to work consistent schedule (full time and part time positions available)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to speak and comprehend English (proficiency in Spanish and/or Italian a plus)
Experience preferred. Competitive candidates will have a retail, food service, and/or customer service background.
