Brief Description
The position of Recruiting Director at D.D. West Company involves sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs. As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential candidates for employment, conducting interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Tasks
* Collaborate with CEO, VP, and Residential Directors to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles for open positions.
* Source candidates through various channels, such as social media, networking, and referrals.
*Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone interviews if applicable, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.
* Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, and experience.
* Maintain accurate records for applicants.
* Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams and gather feedback from
interviewers.
* Provide guidance to candidates about the company, job roles, and the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
* Negotiate job offers and terms of employment, taking into consideration compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities.
* Stay updated with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and market insights to ensure effective talent acquisition strategies.
* Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract and engage potential candidates.
* Schedule and ensure new hire orientation and ensure all training requirements are completed according to DODD training requirements.
* Create new hire login information across multiple systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Recruiter or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of recruitment
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and
team members.
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and open positions simultaneously.
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications, conduct effective interviews, and make informed hiring
- Familiarity with labor laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to recruitment.
- Proficiency in using social media, and networking to source candidates.
- Experience in technical recruitment, diversity hiring, or employer branding is desirable.
* Must have High School Diploma and Be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks and automated registry checks.

Working Conditions
- This is a full-time position with standard working hours such as 9 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday. The Recruiting Director may work in an office environment; Occasional travel may be required for job fairs, interviews, or networking events.
- Must be willing to provide direct care in a residential setting if needed and as a last resort.
