What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at D & H Construction, LLC?
Provide continuous hands-on field supervision for all construction operations. Direct supervision of assistants, foreman, craftsman, subcontractors, and other construction related personnel directing them in the planning, coordination and execution of work on time, within budget, achieving high standards of workmanship, attaining or exceeding profit goals, maintaining a safe workplace, promoting and enhancing client relationships and the company image. Must have the ability to interface successfully with clients and all parties involved with a particular project(s). Inspection of construction including cluttered areas, climbing ladders, working in bad weather, hazardous areas and dark conditions. Ability to complete punch list items, finish drywall, paint, work with ACT (Including ceiling tiles), minor repairs, etc. Thoroughly understand, organize, and maintain all project contract documents on a regular basis. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Must have strong communication, organization and analytical skills. Other duties and responsibilities as required. Must have experience in commercial construction.
