Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics is home to the largest laboratory in NH, providing Pathology and Clinical Laboratory services to DHMC and Clinics physician practices, Dartmouth Health system member hospitals, and independent practices and hospitals throughout NH and VT. This job opportunity is within the Pathology Shared resource Lab, a premier research laboratory housed within the DPLM. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of research projects all while operating under clinical standards and regulations. To provide high-quality histology to researchers within the community. Performs routine tasks and a menu of more advanced tests, such as Immunohistochemistry (including prognostic markers), DIF, Enzyme Histochemistry, and special stains. The Department has a digital apology initiative that includes whole slide imaging, nanostring technologies, as well as several new and technologically advanced platforms.

Qualifications
Route 1 : Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician program within the last five years prior to the date of application for examination. The education received from a NAACLS accredited HT program is acceptable for a period of five (5) years from the date of completion of that program. After five years, the applicant's eligibility will be based on clinical laboratory experience as stated in the current examination eligibility requirements.
Route 1 : Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college / university with a combination of 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of biology and chemistry (must include credit hours in both), AND successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnician or Histotechnology program within the last five years. The education received from a NAACLS accredited HT / HTL program is acceptable for a period of five (5) years from the date of completion of that program. After five years, the applicant's eligibility will be based on laboratory experience as stated in the current examination eligibility requirements.
