JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Production Planner is responsible for processing customer orders efficiently and on time, taking cost-optimized production and customer requirements into account.

- Optimum daily production planning according to customer specifications in consultation with Production.
- Planning in the IT systems and processing in the resulting scheduling lists.
- Checking material and raw material availability and production capacities in accordance with incoming customer orders.
- Planning production orders to various production plants in detail, taking throughput times, cleaning times and cost-optimized production into account.
- Conducting redistribution and relocation of raw materials or blending materials for production.
- Compiling production statistics and analyzing the results.
- Maintaining material master data.
- Implementing preventative and responsive complaints and deviation management.
- Implementing and maintaining OEDM standards (e.g. 5S; standardized work). Notifying the line manager of deviations.
- Initiating improvements.
- Ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
- Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid and cold temperatures.

The employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days can vary depending on production schedule.

Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education
- 3-5 years of experience in a production environment
- SAP experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of food & beverage production or related processe
