Overview
Established deep foundation drilling and shoring contractor in southern California is seeking an experienced project manager/estimator specializing in drilled shafts for CIDH and caisson piles, permanent and temporary shoring systems.
Responsibilities
Manage and estimate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop job specific plans including timelines, material purchasing and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Review plans and soils reports to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Utilize various software tools such as Blue Beam, Microsoft Office, and Auto Cad.
- Daily communication with project supervisor to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on the project site.
- Manage contracts with owners, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality work is performed.
- Prepare weekly progress reports for management detailing project status, challenges, and solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and Estimator within our industry which includes excavation and concrete construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with project management software.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and soils reports.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Critical Thinking Skills

- Ability to Adapt to Changing Environments
